Women’s Soccer Bests Carthage, 5-0

BEVERLY, Mass. — The Endicott women's soccer team defeated Carthage, 5-0, in non-conference action on Sunday afternoon at Hempstead Stadium.

The Gulls scored three first half goals less than 10 minutes apart from one another and never looked back in the contest.

Samantha Klimas (North Andover, Mass.) potted her first two career goals (33:25, penalty kick | 35:58) to highlight the Blue and Green.

Elizabeth Healy (Plymouth, Mass.)Hannah Lord (Bedford, N.H.), and Morgan Hubert (Southington, Conn.) also found the back of the net ('44, '48, and '52) in the victory.

BEYOND THE BOX SCORE

  • Today was the first-ever meeting between the two programs.
  • Most goals scored by the Gulls in a single game since October 5, 2021 (W, 10-0, at Salem State).
  • Healy and Lord netted their first career goals, respectively.
  • Most goals scored in an opening weekend since 2012 (10 total).

WHAT'S NEXT

Endicott (2-0-0) will travel to Wellesley College on Wednesday, September 6 at 4 PM. Carthage (0-2-0) with host Beloit College on Wednesday at 7 PM.
