Beverly, MA-- Sophomore, forward, Caitlin D'Amario (East Longmeadow, MA) is the Commonwealth Coast Conference Player of the Week, after a standout week for the Gulls. In a 2-0 week for EC, D'Amario totaled nine points including three goals and three assists.
In a huge win over Salve Regina University, D'Amario scored two goals, including the game-winner, and added two assists. With the win, the Gulls clinched the \#1 seed in the CCC playoffs. In a 3-0 win over Regis, D'Amario scored one goal and assisted the game-winner. "D'Amario was asked to step up her play and she answered to that challenge with stellar performances versus Regis and Salve Regina," Head Coach Dina Gentile said.
With Caitlin's help, the Gulls earned the \#1 seed, and host the \#8 seed this Saturday at 11am. "D'Amario is a talented player who can dominate in the CCC. She is peaking at a great time as we head to playoffs," Coach Gentile commented. Currently, the Gulls post an overall record of 13-4, 11-1 in the CCC.
