Kasprzak Named NECC Player Of The Week

NECC RELEASE

BEVERLY, Mass. – Endicott men's volleyball graduate student Nikolas Kasprzak (Windham, N.H.) has been named the New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) Player of the Week, as announced by the league office earlier today.

Last week (April 3-9), Kasprzak led Endicott to a 3-0 (2-0 NECC) record with 3.29 kills per set (23 kills), a .500 hitting percentage, one service ace, four digs, and seven blocks (1.00 p/s).

The graduate student middle posted 10 or more kills in two matches, highlighted by his standout performance against then-undefeated conference foe Nichols on Saturday with 10 kills (.400), three digs, and five blocks (one solo).

This is Kasprzak's first career NECC Player of the Week honor.

First-seeded Endicott (13-9, 8-0 NECC) will host the winner of No. 5 SUNY Poly / No. 4 SUNY Potsdam in the NECC Tournament Semifinals on Thursday, April 13 at 7 PM.
