NASHUA, N.H. - Endicott College was unable to upset Rivier College in their NECVA New England matchup tonight. The Gulls showed signs of life early but too many unforced errors made it tough to keep up with No. 7 Rivier as EC fell by the scores of 27-30, 21-30 and 26-30.
Eddie Marchand and George Chapell continued their solid play for the Gulls. Marchand picked up a team high 11 kills while Chapell went five for seven offensively hitting .714%. Russ Friedland dished out 29 assists while Eric Hunter and Marchand each picked up 8 digs.
The Gulls will now return to action this weekend when they will host the 12-team Endicott College "March Mania" Invitational on Saturday and Sunday in the Post Center.
