Beverly, MA -- Endicott cruised to a 3-0 victory tonight over visiting Elms College in the Post Center. The Blazers struggled to get started against the stifling play of the Gulls. The final game scores were 30-11, 30-20 and 30-25.
Eric Hunter led the Gulls with his eight kills and was followed closely by Eddie Marchand's seven. Russ Friedland handed out 34 assists and both he and Marchand contributed three aces each. Brandon Ecker picked up 10 digs in the match while George Chapell helped control the net with four blocks.
The Gulls will return to action tomorrow night when they will travel to Boston, MA to take on No. 9 MIT in a 7:00 PM match. MIT is currently the only undefeated team left in Division III as they are 16-0 overall and 10-0 in NECVA New England play. The Techies pinned a 3-0 loss on the Gulls earlier this season which the Gulls are looking to avenge.
