Cambridge, MA - Endicott dropped a tough nonconference match tonight at Harvard University. The Crimson did a good job controlling the net early and defeated the Gulls 3-0 in the first meeting between these two programs. The game scores were 22-30, 21-30 and 27-30.
The Gulls were led by Mike Coflesky at the net. After getting off to a slow start "Coffee" rallied to lead the team with 13 kills, picking up 7 of those on 8 error free swings in the third game. Jeremy Fontaine and Eddie Marchand also picked up double digit kill performances with 12 and 10 respectively. Russ Friedland handed out 35 assists and Brandon Ecker picked up a team high 8 digs.
The Gulls will return to action and NECVA play in a trimatch at Lasell this Sunday. EC will face the host Lasers in an 11:00 AM match and then play Bard College at 1:00 PM.
