Four Gulls Earn CCC Postseason Accolades

CCC RELEASE

BEVERLY, Mass. – Four members of the Endicott men's tennis program have received postseason honors from the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC), as announced by the league office earlier today.

The Gulls' honorees were George Danes (Old Lyme, Conn.), Antonio Marsallo (Baldwinsville, N.Y.), Brennan Nick (Tolland, Conn.), and Conrad Kadel (Heidelberg, Germany).


ALL-CCC SINGLES

George Danes | So. | Second Team

Danes posted four wins (one in conference) on the season for the Gulls across the No. 1, No. 2, and No. 4 spots in the lineup. He found the most success at the No. 2 flight going 2-0 overall.

This is his first career All-CCC honor.

Antonio Marsallo | Fr. | Third Team

Marsallo finished tied for second on the team in victories with six total across the No. 1, No. 3, and No. 4 spots.

The freshman was lights out in conference play going 3-0.

Brennan Nick | Sr. | Third Team

Nick collected three wins in singles matches this spring. He thrived in the No. 2 slot via a 3-0 record.

In conference matches, Nick was 2-1 overall.

This is his third career All-CCC singles award (2021 – First Team | 2022 – Third Team).


ALL-CCC DOUBLES

Conrad Kadel (Fr.) / Brennan Nick (Sr.) | Third Team

Kadel and Nick compiled five wins as a doubles pairing this season, with four of them coming at the No. 1 position.

The duo ended the season on a three-match winning streak with two of those victories occurring in the CCC Quarterfinals and Semifinals against Wentworth and eventual conference champion Nichols.

This is Kadel's first career All-CCC Doubles honor and Nick's third overall.


YEAR IN REVIEW

Endicott advanced to the CCC Semifinals behind a 9-11 overall record and a 5-3 mark in league play.
