CCC QUARTERFINALS: Men’s Tennis Blanks Wentworth, 5-0

BEVERLY, Mass. – The Endicott men's tennis team defeated Wentworth, 5-0, in the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Quarterfinals on Saturday afternoon at the South Campus Tennis Courts.

In doubles, the Gulls took a commanding 3-0 lead behind some strong offensive play.

The No. 3 pairing of Oliver Pope (Dartmouth, Mass.) / Hudson De Risi (Cold Spring Harbor, N.Y.) and the No. 1 duo of Brennan Nick (Tolland, Conn.) / Conrad Kadel (Heidelberg, Germany) both won by identical 8-3 scores before Antonio Marsallo (Baldwinsville, N.Y.) / Julian Richtarich (Naples, Fla.) secured the sweep at No. 2, 8-2.

Kadel then made it 4-0 with a swift 6-1, 6-0 triumph at No. 4, while De Risi clinched the match with a 6-0, 6-1 victory at No. 6.

Fourth-seeded Endicott (9-10) travels to first-seeded Nichols on Wednesday, April 26 for a CCC Semifinal matchup scheduled for 3 PM.
