Men’s Tennis Blanks Curry, 9-0

MILTON, Mass. — The Endicott men's tennis team defeated Curry, 9-0, in conference action on Tuesday evening at the Trent J. Scott '96 Courts.

In doubles, the pairings of Oliver Pope (Dartmouth, Mass.) / Aaron Terpko (Shrewsbury, Mass.) and Matt Mittleman (Loudonville, N.Y.) / James Zeolie (Amherst, N.H.) earned 8-0 victories at the No. 1 and No. 3 spots.

Will Bierwirth (Hingham, Mass.) / Brayden Allen (North Kingstown, R.I.) also posted an 8-2 triumph at No. 2.

In singles, Terpko (No. 2, 6-0, 6-3), Allen (No. 3, 6-0, 6-0), Mittleman (No. 4, 6-0, 6-1), Zeolie (No. 5, 6-4, 6-0), and Bierwirth (No. 6, 6-0, 6-0) collected wins along with Hudson De Risi (Cold Spring Harbor, N.Y.) at No. 1 (6-2, 6-2).

"We played some good offensive patterns and will continue to work on executing," said Endicott men's tennis head coach Anthony D'Angelo. "We have a lot of matches in a short period of time coming up and need to keep taking care of our bodies as make a push for the playoffs."
