BEVERLY, Mass. — The 2023-24 Endicott men's soccer program has earned the 2023-24 United Soccer Coaches College Team Academic Award, as announced by the United Soccer Coaches organization earlier this month.
The award recognizes collegiate soccer programs from all divisions around the country for their exemplary performance in the classroom during the 2023-24 academic year.
A total of 465 soccer teams (191 men, 274 women) posted a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher, thereby earning the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award for the 2023-24 academic year.
The Endicott men's soccer program, led by head coach Joe Calabrese, averaged a collective grade point average (GPA) of 3.50 in 2023-24. The team is one of six men's soccer programs across the country to average a 3.50 or above.
YEAR IN REVIEW
Endicott posted an 8-7-4 overall record (6-1-2 at home) and 4-3-1 in league play in 2023.
The Gulls earned the No. 5 seed in the CCC Tournament but ultimately fell to No. 4 Suffolk 1-0.
The Blue and Green will open up their 2024 campaign on Friday, August 30 with a 7 PM home contest against William Paterson.
