Suffolk Tops Men's Soccer In CCC Quarterfinals, 1-0

BOSTON, Mass. — The Endicott men's soccer team fell to Suffolk, 1-0, in the quarterfinal round of the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Tournament on Saturday afternoon.

After 85 scoreless minutes, Suffolk was able to break through and tally the only goal of the match, which was initiated off a long throw-in.

The Endicott back line of Konrad Krysztoforski (Bydgoszcz, Poland), Joe Akisik (Sudbury, Mass.), Hayden Laske (Wethersfield, Conn.), and Matt Misiaszek (Londonderry, N.H.) limited Suffolk to just four shots on goal on the afternoon.

Gavin Goodlad (Rockville Center, N.Y.) led the Endicott offense with three shots (one on net) in the contest.

Kevin Pelletier (Topsfield, Mass.) made three saves, but saw his record drop to 5-4-0 on the season with the loss.

BEYOND THE BOX SCORE

  • Akisik, Tiago Frazao (Trumbull, Conn.), and Tim Lynch (Groton, Conn.) played the full 90 for the Blue and Green.
  • Suffolk took the lead in the all-time series with today's victory (4-3-0, winners of four straight).

WHAT'S NEXT

Endicott sees its season come to a close at 8-7-4 overall concludes its season with the loss. Suffolk (10-5-3) faces first-seeded Western New England on Tuesday, October 31 in the semifinal round of the CCC Tournament
