Frazao Receives United Soccer Coaches Scholar All-East Region Accolades

UNITED SOCCER SCHOLAR ALL-EAST REGION RELEASE

BEVERLY, Mass. – Endicott men's soccer senior midfielder Tiago Frazao (Trumbull, Conn.) has earned United Soccer Coaches Scholar All-East Region Second Team honors.

Frazao currently sports a 3.91 cumulative grade point average (GPA) as an international business major.

The senior midi compiled nine goals (one game-winner) and five assists for 23 points in 19 games played, all starts.

Frazao led the Gulls in all scoring categories and ranked in the top-5 among his Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) peers in goals (5th), assists (4th), and points (3rd).

His postseason honors this fall included All-CCC First Team honors, United Soccer Coaches All-Region Second Team accolades, and the 2023 CCC Men's Soccer Scholar-Athlete of the Year award.

To be eligible for selection, a student-athlete must be nominated by their head coach and meet the following criteria:

  • Plays for a current United Soccer Coaches College services member
  • Be a junior or above in athletic standing at their current institution
  • Be in their second year at the current institution if a transfer student
  • Have at least a 3.40 GPA (on a 4.0 scale) throughout their career(s)
  • Play a minimum of 75-percent of games during the season of nomination and be an elite player as supported by playing honors (i.e., All-American, All-Region, Conference Player of the Year)
  • Player meets the highest standards of ethics and sportsmanship as confirmed by their coach on the nomination form

YEAR IN REVIEW

Endicott posted an 8-7-4 overall record (6-1-2 at home) and 4-3-1 in league play. 

The Gulls earned the No. 5 seed in the CCC Tournament but ultimately fell to No. 4 Suffolk 1-0.
