BEVERLY, Mass. — Endicott men's lacrosse student-athletes Thomas Barker (Needham, Mass.) and Guerin Favreau (Woodstock Valley, Conn.) have been named the Conference of New England (CNE) Specialist and Offensive Players of the Week, as announced by the league office Monday.
THOMAS BARKER
In Endicott's 25-8 victory over Keene St., Barker went 78% (21-27) at the face-off "X" while adding a team-high 17 ground balls.
The senior also tallied a goal 12 seconds after halftime to put the Gulls up 13-4 at the time.
This is his 15th career Specialist of the Week award.
GUERIN FAVREAU
During Endicott's 1-0 week, Favreau recorded 11 points (five goals and six assists) as the Gulls bested Keene St. 25-8. In the first quarter, the senior scored three goals and had three assists as Endicott led 9-1 after the first 15 minutes. By the end of the first half, Favreau added two more goals as the Gulls offense continued to roll with 12 goals.
In the second half, the Woodstock Valley, Conn. native tallied three assists to punctuate his career day. His 11 points were a career-high and tied for the seventh most in program history for points in a single game.
This is Favreau's second career Offensive Player of the Week award (2/20/24).
