Gulls Place Fourth at Bowdoin Invitational

BRUNSWICK, Maine – The Endicott golf team teed off at the Bowdoin Invitational at the Brunswick Golf Club over the weekend and finished fourth among some of the region's top programs.  Endicott totaled 636 points (322-314) over the two-day tournament and saw junior Ian Teal (Loudonville, N.Y.) card a team-low 152 (78-74). 

The top three finishers at the Bowdoin Invitational were Williams (606), Husson (620), and Saint Anselm (624).  After a team total of 306 on day one, Williams shot a weekend low of 300 to take home top billing. 

Teal's combined score of 152 placed him fourth behind Williams' Ross Bowen (147) and Jake Abrahams (150) and Husson's Lance Bernier (150) in the individual scoring. 

The rest of Endicott's top five included Ian's brother Austin, a freshman, senior Jackson Wyman (South Freeport, Maine), junior Nick Erlichman (Shrewsbury, Mass.), and junior Jack Carroll (West Hartford, Conn.).  The final standings for Endicott can be found below.

The Gulls will next compete for a chance to defend their 2012 CCC Championship as they play in the conference qualifier on Thursday, September 20th at the Veterans Golf Course in Springfield, Massachusetts.  Golfers tee-off at 11:00 am.
