Forty-nine Gulls named CCC Winter-Spring Academic All-Conference

2012-13 Winter-Spring CCC Academic All-Conference Team

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - The Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) announced today that 299 student-athletes across all winter and spring sports from the 2012-13 academic year have been recognized with Academic All-Confernece honors, including 49 from Endicott's baseball, men's and women's basketball, golf, men's and women's lacrosse, softball, and men's tennis programs. 

To be named CCC Academic All-Conference, student-athletes must possess a 3.3 grade point average or higher and be at least of sophomore standing. 

With the 43 winners from the fall season, the Gulls have 92 CCC Academic All-Conference student-athletes out of the 616 overall named by the conference (14.9%).  Twenty-one of the 49 from the winter and spring seasons were also recognized for their athletic accomplishments with All-CCC honors.  Of those 21, BLANK are major award winners including Senior Scholar-Athletes Lance Greene (Dorchester, Mass.), Colin Sitarz (West Hartford, Conn.), and Sam Ozycz (Cheshire, Conn.), Offensive Player of the Year Holly Davis (Guilford, Conn.), Defensive Player of the Year Ozycz, and Pitcher of the Year Nell O'Connor (Harwich, Mass.).
