Suffolk Slips Past Men's Basketball, 83-77

EAST BOSTON, Mass. – The Endicott men's basketball team fell to Suffolk, 83-77, in conference action on Saturday evening at Larry E. and Michael S. Smith court.

Jalen Echevarria (Lynn, Mass.) paced all scorers with a game-high/career-high 35 points paired with three rebounds, three assists, and two steals. 

Mark Barrett (Brookline, Mass.) and Stephen Fama (Lynnfield, Mass.) also contributed 12 and 10 points for the Gulls.

Tied 50-50 with 8:52 to play in the second half, Suffolk produced a 20-10 run ending with 2:28 to play, and held on for the victory.

  • The all-time series between Endicott and Suffolk is now tied, 4-4.
  • Suffolk is 5-3 at home this season.
