Beverly, MA-- Head Coach Michael Plansky and three men's basketball players earned Commonwealth Coast All-Conference recognition, as announced by the CCC this Saturday, following the Championship game. Senior Josh Oxton, junior Matt George and sophomore Nemanja Marinkovic all earned Conference recognition.
Head men's basketball coach, Mike Plansky was named Conference Coach of the Year. This marks the third time Coach Plansky has received this prestigious recognition. The first year at the Endicott helm, Coach was named Co-Coach of the Year, and Coach of the Year after his 1st season at the helm for Salve Regina. Coach Plansky has compiled an overall record of 116-48.
Oxton (Center Harbor, NH) earned 1st Team All-Conference. He is averaging 14 points and 4.5 rebounds per game. He recorded a team high of 120 assists for the entire season. Oxton earned CCC Player of the Week Honors three times, and Honorable Mention once during the regular season. He also reached the 1,000 point mark of his college career during a victory over Eastern Nazarene. "Josh will be truly missed on and off the court next year," Head Coach Plansky said. "His selflessness is a huge asset to the team."

George (Dover, NH) merited 1st Team All-Conference. Starting in every game, the 6'3'' forward averaged 13 points a game for the season. He totaled a .597 field goal percentage, and a .493 three-point percentage. George also shot 53-for-63 from the free throw line for the season. "Matt never gives up when he is on the court," Coach Plansky said. "He hustles to every ball, and he is a big threat on both offense and defense."

Marinkovic (Belgrade, Serbia) earned Honorable Mention. He shot .785 for the season, averaging 12 points per game. He also posted a team high average of 7.4 boards per game. The 6'4'' forward started in every game this season. "Nemanja is a great post player and has helped us tremendously on the boards," Head Coach Plansky said
Endicott, which enters the NCAA's at 22-5, defeated Roger Williams University, 71-59 in the CCC Championship game, receiving the automatic bid into the National Tournament. The Gulls finished at 15-1 in the CCC, a program record and won the regular season title for the third year in a row.

The Gulls have won 12 straight and 19 of 20 games after opening the season with a 3-4 record. The team is making their 3rd NCAA appearance under the helm of Coach Plansky.
