Beverly, MA In a Commonwealth Coast Conference battle, the Gulls never looked back from an early lead, giving Coach Michael Plansky his 100th win. EC's tough defense, coupled with Matt George's game high 21 points, EC was able to defeat conference member, Salve Regina Uniersity.

George was 3-4 from beyond the arc, 4-4 from the foul line. Samuel Evans dominated on defense, blocking four Seahawks shots and grabbing six defensive rebounds. On offense, Evans helped the Gulls by scoring 11 points. Sophomore Nemanja Marinkovic was 4-5 from the field, scoring 10 for the Gulls.

For the Seahawks, Chris Collier scored a team high, 17 points. Matt Coute scored 12 for the Seahawks, and grabbed a game high ten rebounds.

Coach Plansky's record now stands at 100-47. It was a bitter sweet victory since 52 of Coach Plansky's victories came at Salve Regina University. "Chris Collier directly impacted 20 of my victories, so it is still hard to see him playing with a different colored uniform," Coach Plansky commented. "I am truly happy to experience this in front of our fans at Endicott. More important, is the fact that we just beat the number one team in the south division of the Commonwealth Coast Conference."

The Gulls are 2-1 in CCC play, 6-4 overall. EC hosts Conference member, University of New England, Tuesday at 8PM.
