BEVERLY, Mass. - Freshman Riley Donahue (South Windsor, Conn.) has been selected as the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Rookie of the Week for the third time this fall, as announced by the conference office this afternoon.

Donahue's third honor follows a week in which she helped lead the Gulls to a 3-2 week overall. That 3-2 record included three five-set matches, two of which were victories, one of which was over an AVCA nationally ranked opponent in No. 22 Babson.

The South Windsor, Conn. native started the week with an 11 kill, eight dig, three ace effort in which she hit .476 (11-1-21) in just three sets of play in the team's 3-1 CCC win over Nichols. After posting 16 kills and 14 digs in the 3-1 setback to NESCAC foe Wesleyan (Conn.), Donahue responded with a career-high 21 kills to go with 10 digs in the team's run at nationally ranked No. 3 Trinity (Tex.) in a 3-2 loss.

For the week, the outside finished averaging 3.05 kills/set, 2.4 digs/set, and 3.6 points/set.
