McAvoy Named CCC Player Of The Week

CCC RELEASE

BEVERLY, Mass. – Endicott senior middle Colleen McAvoy (Coventry, Conn.) has earned Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Player of the Week honors, as announced by the league office earlier today.

Last week in a pair of CCC victories, McAvoy averaged 2.86 kills per set, while hitting .548 for the Gulls. She was extremely efficient with her swings only making three errors in seven sets.

McAvoy also was a force at the net in a four-set win over the University of New England registering eight kills and six blocks (two solo). She followed that up with a sweep of Roger Williams in which she provided 12 kills.

Additionally, McAvoy had four aces and six digs on the week.

WHAT'S NEXT

Endicott (14-7, 5-0 CCC) hosts crosstown rival Gordon on Tuesday, October 19 at 7 PM.
