Mount Holyoke Defeats Women’s Tennis, 8-1

BEVERLY, Mass. – The Endicott women's tennis team fell to Mount Holyoke College by an 8-1 score on Saturday evening at the South Campus Courts. 

Alexi Losano (Saugus, Mass.) picked up the Gulls' lone victory on the day with a hard-fought 7-5, 5-7, 10-6 triumph at the No. 6 singles position.

"Tough loss today but I have to give a huge shout-out to Lexi Losano for her terrific grind out on court six," said Endicott women's tennis head coach Jeremy Howard. "Next up for us is Merrimack on Friday, April 21, but for now we will enjoy a little break before returning to practice next week regrouped and ready to go for our final two matches of the season." 

BEYOND THE BOX SCORE

  • Losano is 6-1 in singles play this season, which includes a 1-0 mark at No. 5 and a 5-1 record at No. 6. 

WHAT'S NEXT

Endicott (11-6) travels to Merrimack on Friday, April 21 for a non-conference match at 2:30 PM. Mount Holyoke closes out its season at 14-8 overall.
