BEVERLY, Mass. — The Endicott women's tennis team (13-7) is set to play Sarah Lawrence (10-3) in the first round of the NCAA Tournament on Friday, May 13 at 11 AM. Here's a preview of the postseason matchup, which will be played in Cambridge, Mass. at the Dupont Tennis Courts on the campus of MIT.

FIVE THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW

• Endicott earned its bid to the NCAA Tournament with a 5-0 sweep over Roger Williams in the CCC Championship match on 10/23/21.
• Sarah Lawrence claimed its bid to the NCAA Tournament with a 5-1 victory over top-seeded Farmingdale State to capture its first Skyline Conference Championship in school history. 
• This will be the first-ever matchup between the two programs.
• Sarah Lawrence enters Friday's contest on a five-match win streak dating back to 10/9/21. 
• The winner will take on No. 7 nationally ranked MIT in the second round. Both teams have never faced MIT in NCAA Division III varsity competition.

WHAT'S NEXT

The winner of Friday's match will face off against No. 7 nationally ranked MIT on Saturday, May 14 with a TBA start time.
