SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - Saturday's Homecoming win over Wentworth marked the end of the regular season for the Endicott women's tennis team, but with a 7-1 record in CCC matches this fall the Gulls claimed the #2 seed in the conference tournament which begins next week.  

Endicott, Nichols, and Roger Williams all finished the regular season with a 7-1 record in league play but after four tiebreakers, Nichols was named the #1 seed for the tournament.  As the top two seeds in the bracket, Nichols and Endicott receive byes through the quarterfinal round of the tournament.  Both teams will play their next match on Thursday, October 10th in the CCC Semifinals. 

Endicott will take on the winner of #3 Roger Williams vs #6 Salve Regina while Nichols will take on either #4 Curry or #5 Gordon.  

The Gulls will be competing for their third straight conference championship.  Endicott has won each of their last two titles as the #2 seed with back-to-back wins on the road at the tournament's top seed, Nichols.
