CCC CHAMPIONSHIP: No. 2 Endicott Travels To No. 1 Roger Williams On Saturday (1 PM)

BRISTOL, R.I.. — The second-seeded Endicott women's lacrosse team (11-7) is set to travel to one-seeded Roger Williams (10-7) at Bayside Field on Saturday at 12 PM. Here's a preview of the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Championship game.

FIVE THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW

  • Saturday's matchup serves as the eight consecutive meeting between the two schools in the CCC championship, and the 12th overall in championship history. 

  • The Gulls hold a 25-9 advantage in the all-time series over the Hawks. 

  • Roger Williams won the regular season matchup, 14-7, back on April 13.

  • The Hawks rank first nationally in shot percentage at 54.7%. 

  • Lydia Akins (Edina, Minn.) ranks first in the CCC and 11th nationally in save percentage at 50.9%.

WHAT'S NEXT 

The winner of Saturday's championship contest will earn the CCC's automatic bid into the NCAA Division III Women's Lacrosse Tournament.
