BEVERLY, Mass. — Endicott women's lacrosse student-athlete Emerson Clark (Gloucester, Mass.) has earned Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Rookie of the Week honors, as announced by the league office earlier today.
Clark recorded nine points in a 1-1 week for the Gulls scoring five goals and adding four assists. The freshman led the team during the week with seven ground balls and four caused turnovers.
In a tight 13-8 loss to No. 20 Trinity, the freshman had six points with three goals and three assists. Added three ground balls and a caused turnover. All three goals came in the second half as Endicott was able to cut the Trinity lead down to two.
Followed up against Curry with three points (two goals and one assist). Scooped up four ground balls and caused three turnovers in an emphatic 21-5 victory.
This is the fourth time Clark has earned Rookie of the Week honors in her career.
