Women’s Lacrosse Earns Share Of Top Spot In CCC Preseason Poll

CCC RELEASE

BEVERLY, Mass. — Based on a vote by the league's head coaches, Endicott and Roger Williams have been ranked first overall in the 2024 Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) women's lacrosse preseason poll. 

Both programs compiled 60 total points in the voting process, including four first-place votes each.

Western New England (46), the University of New England (42), Nichols (27), Gordon (25), Curry (17), and Wentworth (11) followed in respective order.

WHAT'S NEXT

The Gulls begin their 2024 season at home on Wednesday, February 21 against Springfield at 4 PM.

The Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC), founded in 1984, is an NCAA Division III athletic conference composed of 10 full member and two associate member institutions throughout the New England region. Its membership aims to provide student-athletes with a positive experience in their pursuit of excellence through high academic standards, quality competition and a meaningful student life. The Conference administers Championships in 20 intercollegiate sports.
