  • Forty-nine Gulls named CCC Winter-Spring Academic All-Conference

    SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - The Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) announced today that 299 student-athletes across all winter and spring sports from the 2012-13 academic year have been recognized with Academic All-Confernece honors, including 49 from Endicott's baseball, men's and women's basketball, golf, men's and women's lacrosse, softball, and men's tennis programs.

    BEVERLY, Mass. – The College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) announced that Endicott women’s lacrosse senior Holly Davis (Guilford, Conn.) was named a Capital One Academic All-America Women’s At-Large Second Team winner, marking the first time a Gulls women’s lacrosse student-athlete has achieved the honor.

    BEVERLY, Mass. – Endicott got five goals from sophomore Siri Mason (Williamstown, Mass.) and outshot their opponents 41-10 en route to a 21-2 victory over Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) foe Roger Wiliams on Friday afternoon at Endicott Stadium. The Gulls improved to 5-0 in the CCC and 8-5 overall, while Roger Williams drops their fourth consecutive game and levels at 3-3 in the conference (5-8 overall).

    SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – The Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) today named Endicott junior goalie Rachel Socolow (Westford, Mass.) their Defensive of the Week winner as Socolow led the Gulls to a 3-1 week against a mix of conference and non-conference games. The junior posted a 6.67 goals against average in the four contests including a 3.00 goals against in two CCC matchups.

    BRUNSWICK, Maine -- The ninth ranked program in the country, Bowdoin College defeated Endicott 14-8 on Sunday afternoon in a non-conference women's lacrosse game. The Gulls, who were playing back to back games, fall to 7-5 on the season, while the Polar Bears improve to 7-2 with the victory.

The game marked the first league matchup for both teams, with the Gulls pulling their overall record to an even 3-3, while handing the Scots their first loss of the year (3-1).
