COSIDA ACADEMIC ALL-DISTRICT® RELEASE
BEVERLY, Mass. – Endicott softball student-athletes Adrianna Favreau (Tewksbury, Mass.), Lauren Misiaszek (Londonderry, N.H.), and Keelin Spencer (San Jose, Calif.) have received CoSIDA Academic All-District® First Team honors, as announced by the organization.
The trio of Gulls will now appear on the national ballot for selection to the CoSIDA Academic All-America® team, which will be voted on by Sports Information Directors (SIDs) across the country in mid-July.
Favreau is the first student-athlete in program history to garner two CoSIDA Academic All-District® First Team selections, while Misiaszek and Spencer are first-time honorees.
Overall, the program has had seven student-athletes receive the prestigious award. The remainder of the list aside from Favreau, Misiaszek, and Spencer includes Peyton Atkins '20 (Goshen, N.Y.), Samantha DiBella '16 M'18 (Danvers, Mass.), Hall of Famer Ashley Wright '11 (Merrimack, N.H.), and Hayley Hovhanessian '11 (Farmington, Conn.).
ADRIANNA FAVREAU | SR. | 2B
Favreau recently graduated from Endicott with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology and biotechnology and a 3.83 cumulative grade point average (GPA).
Favreau, who has been accepted into the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts Veterinary, has compiled several academic awards during her career at The Nest including three Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Academic All-Conference selections, a National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) All-America Scholar-Athlete award, the 2020-21 Endicott Senior Scholar-Athlete award, multiple Dean's List honors, and membership into the Phi Sigma and Mortar Board National Honor Societies.
She also has served as a peer tutor (CRLA certified) in the Tutoring and Writing Center, was a member of the EC L.E.A.D. (Leaders of the Endicott Athletics Department) program and the softball program's Team IMPACT Leadership Team.
Meanwhile, Favreau's internship experiences include time spent at the Northborough Canine Rehabilitation & Fitness Center (rehab assistant), New England Wildlife Center, Woburn Animal Hospital, MSPCA, and Shawsheen Animal Hospital.

Favreau's learning outcomes during those internships included performing hydrotherapy and fitness exercises for canines; learning anatomy and physiology; adaptive care; performing procedures such as suturing, x-rays, tube feeding, wound changing, etc.; performing vaccinations, blood draws, blood tests, and cytology lab work; observations of animal surgeries and ultrasound procedures; preparing, performing, and documenting general check-ups; Next-Gen sequencing; cell transformation; gel electrophoresis & PCR; hydrotherapy.
Athletically, the 2021 CCC Player of the Year slashed .486/.581/.889 (.avg/.obp/.slg) this season in 24 games played (all starts, 22 at second base). Favreau collected 35 hits (7 2B, 2 3B, 6 HR), drove in 32 runs, scored 33 times, and went 3-for-3 in stolen base attempts. Nationally, among her NCAA Division III peers, Favreau ranked No. 13 in slugging percentage and No. 20 in RBI per game (1.43) in 2021.
Her other athletic achievements include three CCC All-Conference selections (two first team honors), one All-Region award, CCC Rookie of the Year accolades in 2018, and multiple CCC Player and Rookie of the Week honors.
LAUREN MISIASZEK | JR. | OF
Misiaszek currently sports a 3.95 GPA as a finance & marketing double major.
Academically, Misiaszek is a two-time CCC Academic All-Conference honoree, has earned multiple Dean's List honors, is a peer tutor, and a member of the Sigma Beta Delta National Honor Society.
Her internship experiences have included time with the Insulet Corporation and the New Hampshire Fisher Cats. With the Insulet Corporation, Misiaszek worked on ensuring data correctness, building reports, and updating Salesforce provider data. As for the Fisher Cats, Misiaszek experienced all facets of minor league baseball from sales, marketing, promotions, and stadium operations.
Misiasek also is a member of the softball program's Team IMPACT Leadership Team, an Endicott Ambassador, and has volunteered her time with Special Olympics, Operation Hat Trick, the College's Diabetes Network, the American Red Cross, and the College's 9/11 Remembrance Committee.
Athletically, in 24 games played (all starts) this season, Misiasek slashed .526/.554/.872 to go along with 21 runs, 41 hits (7 2B, 4 3B, 4 HR), 25 RBI, and four stolen bases. Nationally, among her NCAA Division III peers, Misiaszek ranked No. 10 in batting average and No. 15 in slugging percentage this past season.
For her efforts this year, Misiaszek was named an All-CCC First Team and All-Region First Team selection, respectively.
KEELIN SPENCER | SR. | SS
Spencer recently graduated from Endicott with a Bachelor of Science degree in exercise science and a 3.98 GPA.
Spencer, who is enrolled in Endicott's Master of Science Sport Leadership program, is a two-time CCC Academic All-Conference selection, a two-time NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete, and a multiple Dean's List honoree.
Meanwhile, Spencer's internship experiences have been highlighted by her time with San Jose City College's Strength & Conditioning department. Spencer completed many duties during her internship including creating weekly conditioning programs; assisting in three different weekly lifting programs; recording lifts to teach/correct student-athletes on proper lifting technique(s); mental preparation; and studying sports, health, and strength & conditioning trends.
Prior to her time at Endicott, Spencer obtained her associate's degree in kinesiology from San Jose City College (2017-19). She was a member of the 2019 CCS Champion softball team and worked in the strength & conditioning department overseeing lifts, creating weekly programming, and instructing student-athletes.
Spencer also earned two CCCAAA Academic All-State honors, two SJCC All-Conference awards, and one All-Northern California Team award.
Her volunteer work includes time spent with the Campbell Girls' Fast Pitch and San Jose Lady Sharks softball teams.
As for this past season at Endicott, Spencer slashed .426/.517/.532 alongside 20 hits (2 2B, 1 HR), 16 RBI, and 15 runs scored to earn All-CCC Second Team accolades.
CoSIDA Academic All-District® Program Requirements
The CoSIDA Academic All-District® program recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined academic and athletic performances.
All First Team Academic All-District® winners, which includes eight districts total, move to the national ballot and are then voted upon to the national team by members of CoSIDA's Academic All-America Committee. Endicott's district – District 1 – includes all schools from Massachusetts and Maine.
To be eligible, a student-athlete must be a varsity starter or key reserve, maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.30 on a scale of 4.00, have reached sophomore athletic and academic standing at his/her current institution, and be nominated by his/her sports information director.
Since the program's inception in 1952, CoSIDA has bestowed Academic All-America honors on more than 15,000 student-athletes in Divisions I, II, III, and NAIA, covering all NCAA championship sports.
