CCC SOFTBALL WEEKLY AWARDS RELEASE

BEVERLY, Mass. – Endicott softball student-athletes Adrianna Favreau (Tewksbury, Mass.) and Maria Hanchuk (South Windsor, Conn.) were named Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Player and Pitcher of the Week, the conference announced earlier today. 

Favreau batted .750 (6-for-8) with a double, two RBI, four runs scored, and a stolen base in a doubleheader sweep of Wentworth. Over the two games, Favreau reached base seven times in nine trips to the plate for a .778 on-base percentage.

Meanwhile, Hanchuk struck out a career-best 13 batters while spinning a seven-inning complete-game shutout over Wentworth. Hanchuk scattered four hits and did not walk a batter. The 13 strikeouts in a single game tied for fifth all-time in program history.

WHAT'S NEXT 

Endicott (17-2) will host the CCC Championship series on Saturday, May 8th where they will face off against Western New England.
