George Helps Endicott to Tip-Off win.

Matt George shot a near perfect 10-11 from the field and 6-6 from the foul line to Endicott overcome a 14 point first half deficit. Endicott scored 53 points in the second half to secure their first win of the year beating Suny-New Paltz 80-75.

Suny New-Paltz used a 21-7 run to take a 14 point lead with 5:18 left in the first half. Endicott then fought back with a 7-1 run of their own to head into the intermission behind 35-27.

In the second half Endicott began to execute it's offense better and slowly took control of the game. Early in the second half Endicott went on a 9-0 run sparked by Jeremy Currier as he connected for a three point field goal and a tough jumper from the top of the key. Endicott's lead stretched to 10 with 5:55 remaining as Endicott picked up it's defensive intensity and forced New Paltz into turnovers and quick shots. Endicott forced Suny-New Paltz to turn the ball over 26 times while collecting 14 steals.

Josh Oxton(11 points) and Jeremy Currier (13 points) followed Matt George (26 points) in double figures while all 10 players that played scored. Freshman Nemanja Marinkovic led Endicott with 8 rebounds to go along with his 6 points. Suny-New Paltz placed four players in double figures led by John Hauser and Matt Daudier both with 16 points.

Endicott plays consensus top 10 pick University of Rochester Sunday, November 23 at 1pm in Rochester, New York.
