Framingham-MA

The Endicott gulls outscored Framingham State 52-39 in the second half to secure it's ninth win of the season. This improves Endicott's non-league record to 6-2 for the 2003-2004 year. Last year Endicott was 2-6 in non-league games including a loss to Framingham State.

Both teams started slowly as each team's defense excelled. Endicott was held to 36% shooting including 1-9 from the three point line. Endicott's defense proved to be better, however, as it limited Framingham State to 27% shooting. Jeremy Currier hit the lone three of the half for Endicott late to give the gulls a 27-24 half time lead.

In the second half Endicott's offense began to click. By using 10 players in the first half Endicott wore down Framingham State who only played seven. Endicott extended it's lead to 10 with fourteen minutes to go on a three point basket by Zach Ellis. Framingham cut the lead to 7 with a little over nine minutes left when three technical fouls were called on Framingham State. The first technical was called on Jared Clark, then 2 technicals were called on head coach Don Spellman. Endicott converted on 4 of 6 free throws. Nemanja Marinkovic then scored on an inside hoop and Jeremy Currier connected with a three to push the lead to 15 and Endicott rolled from there.

Endicott was lead by senior Jeremy Currier with 29 points. Currier was 11-12 from the foul line and 4 for 10 from the three point line. Nemanja Marinkovic had his second double double in as many games as he had 17 points and 14 rebounds. Zach Ellis was also in double figures with 12 points. Framingham State was led by Ryan Dacey with 26 points and Chris Feeney with 12.

Endicott now plays conference rival Colby-Sawyer at home Saturday at 1pm. Endicott looks to avenge it's 56-54 loss to Colby-Sawyer 10 days ago.
