BEVERLY, Mass. — Endicott football graduate quarterback Clayton Marengi (Lynnfield, Mass.) has been named the Conference of New England's (CNE) Offensive Player of the Week following his performance this past Saturday at Hardin-Simmons.
Despite Endicott's 35-27 loss to No. 7/8 nationally ranked Hardin Simmons, Marengi displayed an impressive showing in Buda, Texas. The graduate quarterback was responsible for all four touchdowns in No. 9/12 Endicott's offensive efforts.
He went 20-for-32 on passing attempts, adding up to a total of 205 yards and three touchdowns on the day.
Marengi also rushed the ball six times for 43 yards (7.2 avg) and one touchdown for the Blue and Green.
This is Marengi's third career Conference Offensive Player of the Week award (10/31/22, 11/6/2023).
