BEVERLY, Mass. – Endicott graduate student Zachariah Twardosky (Merrimack, N.H.) has been selected to the D3football.com Team of the Week.
This is Twardosky's second career honor (9/20/22), making him the fourth student-athlete in program history to earn multiple weekly awards from D3football.com (Kevin Eagan, Hector Johnson, Dylan Rushe).
Last Saturday (9/28), Twardosky's 47-yard pick-six locked up Endicott's come-from-behind 28-20 victory over RPI.
Twardosky tied his career high with 10 tackles, seven of them solo. The pick-six, which came in the fourth quarter and was the final score of the day, was the second of his career.
The Team of the Week, presented by Scoutware, is D3football.com's weekly honor roll, in its 26th season of recognizing the top performance at each position from the previous week.
Student-athletes are nominated by their schools' athletic communications department and chosen by members of the D3football.com staff.
Twardosky was one of 26 student-athletes picked to the D3football.com's weekly honor roll among all 240 NCAA Division III programs across the country.
