Smith Tabbed As CNE Special Teams Player of the Week

BEVERLY, Mass.Ryan Smith (Glastonbury, Conn.) has been named the Conference of New England's (CNE) Special Teams Player of the Week following Saturday's strong performance at St. Lawrence, as announced by the league office on Monday afternoon.

In Endicott's 44-13 season-opening win at St. Lawrence, Smith drilled six extra points for the Gulls (6-for-6 on his PAT attempts; 0-1 FG, 40-yard attempt).

Smith also took on the punting duties, and recorded two punts for a total of 71 yards (35.5 average, long of 36).

On kickoffs, he averaged 47.9 yards per kick over his seven attempts with a total of 335 yards on the afternoon.

This is Smith's sixth career Special Teams Player of the Week award (9/27/21, 10/4/2021, 11/1/2021, 10/24/22, 10/30/23).
