Football Earns First-Ever National Ranking

BEVERLY, Mass. — Following a 6-0 start to the 2022 season, the Endicott football team has entered the national rankings for the first time in program history.

The Gulls made their debut today at No. 25 overall in the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) Division III Top-25 Poll.

Alongside its national ranking, Endicott is receiving votes in the latest D3football.com Top-25 Poll and is positioned first in the third edition of the Grinold Chapter New England Division III Football Coaches' Poll.

PROGRAM HISTORY

  • Founded during the 2002-03 academic year as a junior varsity team
  • Became an NCAA Division III member during the 2003-04 academic year
  • 118-74 overall record (.615), 85-36 conference record (.702), to date
  • Two-time NEFC Champions (2010, 2013)
  • Two-time ECAC North Bowl Champions (2011, 2012)
  • Three NCAA Tournament First Round appearances (2010, 2013, 2021)
  • 2021 CCC Champions 
  • 2019 New England Bowl Champions
  • Two New England Bowl appearances
