Endicott Remains Atop Grinold Chapter N.E. DIII Weekly Rankings

BEVERLY, Mass. — The Second Grinold Chapter New England Division III Football Coaches poll of the 2022 season has been released, and Endicott College leads the poll for the second consecutive week, while the New England Small College Athletic Conference places four teams among the top 10.

The Gulls received 12 of 13 first place votes to top runner-up Trinity College by 18 points in the poll, while Middlebury sits in third place.

UMass Dartmouth is in fourth and Tufts placed fifth. The poll is rounded out by Plymouth, Springfield, Wesleyan, Salve Regina, Colby, and the University of New England.

The New England Division III Football Poll is presented by the Jack Grinold/Eastern Massachusetts Chapter of the National Football Foundation, which also serves as the title sponsor of the weekly Gold Helmet Awards presented by the New England Football Writers Association throughout the season.
