Twardosky Named To D3football.com Team Of The Week

D3FOOTBALL.COM RELEASE

BEVERLY, Mass. — Endicott junior strong safety Zachariah Twardosky (Merrimack, N.H.) has been selected to the D3football.com Team of the Week, as announced by the organization earlier today.

Last Saturday (9/17), Twardosky tied for the team lead in tackles (eight total, six solo) and returned an interception for a 36-yard score to seal Endicott's 28-7 victory over TCNJ.

He also recorded one forced fumble and had a pass breakup for the Gulls.

Today's announcement marks Twardosky's first career D3football.com Team of the Week award.

The D3football.com Team of the Week, presented by Scoutware, is D3football.com's weekly honor roll, which is currently in its 24th season of recognizing the top performance at each position from the previous week.

Twardosky was one of 26 student-athletes chosen to the D3football.com's weekly honor roll among all 240 NCAA Division III programs across the country.

Student-athletes are nominated by their school's sports information directors.

Overall, Twardosky is the 10th student-athlete to be chosen to the D3football.com Team of the Week and the 12th overall selection in program history (two student-athletes with two honors each).

Twardosky is the only safety among the group of all-time honorees for the Gulls.
