BEVERLY, Mass. — Endicott baseball student-athletes Gabe Van Emon (Lexington, Mass.) and TJ Liponis (Scarborough, Maine) have earned Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) weekly awards, as announced by the league office yesterday.
Van Emon was named the CCC Pitcher of the Week, while Liponis garnered CCC Rookie of the Week accolades.

Last week for the Gulls (April 24-30), Van Emon had a game for the record books last Saturday (April 29).
He earned a nine-inning complete game victory over Wentworth in CCC play, allowing just two hits while setting an Endicott single-game record in strikeouts with 14.
Van Emon had the Leopards' batters fooled all day as nine of his 14 strikeouts were looking.
The complete game shutout is the first of his career.

This is Van Emon's second career CCC Pitcher of the Week award (4/3/23).
Liponis had three hits for the Gulls last week as they went 4-0.
He scored three runs and had five RBI on the week, while also stealing three bases.
Liponis also hit two doubles.
This is his third CCC Rookie of the Week honor (3/6/23, 4/10/23).
