Colby-Sawyer got a run back in the top of fourth on a Sean Gavin (Keene, N.H.) RBI single to left that scored junior Greg Mehuron (Waitsfield, Vt.) who had reached on a single to lead off the inning.

Endicott came right back in the bottom half of the inning with two runs on a rope through the left side by Lemke that scored Danny Mello (Peabody, Mass.) and Mike Russo (Natick, Mass.).

Colby-Sawyer scored their second and final run of the game in the top of the fifth on a 5-4-3 double play with runners on first and third. The runner on third base, senior Shane Hoagboon (Mayfield, N.Y.), crossed home plate to make the score 6-2 in favor of the home team.

Both teams went scoreless over the final two innings to finalize the 6-2 win for the Gulls.
