Western New England amassed 135 points, seven more than second-place Endicott. The Gulls received two first-place votes while defending TCCC-champion Curry collected one first-place vote, and was picked to finish third. Salve Regina was selected to finish fourth, while Anna Maria garnered the remaining first-place vote and was slotted in the fifth spot.
Teams received 12 points for every first place vote received, 11 points for second place votes, 10 points for third place votes, down to one point for a last place vote. First place votes are shown in parentheses.
Fourth year head coach Bryan Haley has improved the team’s win total in each of his first three years at the helm. Last year’s squad tied a program record with 28 wins and finished 17-5 in conference play. Haley was named TCCC Coach of the Year while six student-athletes received all-conference nods. Four of those players return in 2011 and will look to lead the Gulls to their first conference championship since 2006.
