No. 3 Women’s Rugby Blanks UMass Dartmouth, 41-0

DARTMOUTH, Mass. – The No. 3 nationally ranked Endicott women's rugby team shut out UMass Dartmouth, 41-0, on Saturday afternoon.

Melissa Drexler (Duxbury, Mass.) was named the Player of the Match for her efforts on attack alongside registering one conversion.

The Gulls also received a pair of tries from Jourdan VanAmburgh (Selkirk, N.Y.), Cassidy McElhinney (Natick, Mass.), and Tess Merrill (Greenwich, N.Y.) to highlight the win.

Meanwhile, Megan Van Hilten (Zeist, Netherlands) scored her first career try and Elektra Cheney (Collinsville, Conn.) notched two conversions, rounding out the scoring.

No. 3 Endicott (4-1) takes on No. 2 Salve Regina in the CCRC Championship on Sunday, November 7 (time, place TBD).
