No. 2 Women’s Rugby Tops No. 18 Middlebury In NCR Northeast Regionals

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The No. 2 nationally ranked Endicott women's rugby team defeated No. 18 Middlebury, 32-22, in the National Collegiate Rugby (NCR) Northeast Regionals on Saturday afternoon.

The Gulls (6-1) will play No. 6 SUNY Cortland tomorrow at 10 AM for a chance to advance to NCR Nationals.

As for today's match, Endicott received tries from Sarah Aylwin (Topsfield, Mass.), Libby Cavanaugh (Barrington, N.H.), Elektra Cheney (Collinsville, Conn.), Caitlin Kane (Shrewsbury, Mass.), Madison Pinette (Dracut, Mass.), and Carolina Stubbs (Newtown, Conn.) in the victory.

Cheney also added a conversion to her ledger for the Gulls.
