BEVERLY, Mass. — The Endicott women's ice hockey team (19-4-4) will travel to No. 2/2 nationally ranked Plattsburgh State (25-2-0) on Wednesday, March 6 (time TBA) to play in the first round of the NCAA Tournament at the Ronald B. Stafford Ice Arena.

Wednesday's game will be the first-ever meeting between the two programs.
HOW THEY GOT HERE
Endicott defeated Morrisville State, 1-0, in overtime, on Sunday, March 3 in the Colonial Hockey Conference (CHC) Championship game.
Jillian Gibbs (Burlington, Vt.) scored the game-winning goal 11 minutes into the extra frame off feeds from Jade Meier (Fairbanks, Alaska) and Maeve Moynihan (West Roxbury, Mass.) to lift the first-seeded Gulls past third-seeded Morrisville State. (BOX SCORE | RECAP)
Meanwhile, the first-seeded Cardinals won their second Northeast Women's Hockey League (NEWHL) title in the two-year history of the league on Saturday, March 2 with a dominant 5-0 win over third-seeded SUNY Cortland. (BOX SCORE | RECAP)
