GORHAM, Maine – The Endicott women's ice hockey team opened the 2018-19 season at Southern Maine on Saturday afternoon, where they skated to a 1-1 overtime draw.
The Gulls got on the board first as Courtney Sullivan (North Yarmouth, Maine) registered her first career goal at the 3:11 mark. She was assisted by Lauren Ferraiuolo (North Haven, Conn) and Ellen Carter (Roseville, Minn.).
The score remained 1-0 in favor of Endicott until the third period when Southern Maine's Bridget Fagan (Millis, Mass.) tied the game at 1-1 just over halfway through the frame.
Both teams continued to look for the go-ahead goal throughout the remainder regulation and an overtime period but neither found the back of the net and the contest ended in a tie.
