BEVERLY, Mass. – The Endicott men's soccer team fell to No. 18 nationally ranked Connecticut College, 4-1, on Tuesday night in non-conference action at Hempstead Stadium.
Trailing 1-0 in the 27th minute, Evan Couchot (Mason, Ohio) scored the lone goal for the Gulls when he tucked a header into the lower right corner of the net for his fifth goal of the season.
Couchot's touch on the initial volley proved to be the difference as the senior forward chested the ball to himself and promptly headed it in despite being sandwiched between a defender and the goalkeeper.
Meanwhile, Zach Regulbuto (Somers, Conn.) stopped a game-high (tied) five shots in the loss (1-2-0).
