Trio of Gulls Collect CCC Weekly Awards

BEVERLY, Mass. — Three members of the Endicott men's lacrosse team have earned Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) weekly awards, as announced by the league office on Monday.

The trio of Guerin Favreau (Woodstock Valley, Conn.)Tim Luciano (Westport, Conn.), and Manny Marshall (Chelmsford, Mass.) took home Offensive Player of the Week, Defensive Player of the Week, and Rookie of the Week accolades, respectively.


GUERIN FAVREAU

Favreau recorded a hat-trick and added an assist in Endicott's 14-7 win over Keene St. on Friday night. This was the first hat-trick in his career and the highest point total in a game in his career.

The junior's assist came in the second quarter which cut Endicott's deficit to 3-2.

Then in the second half, Favreau recorded all three of his goals as Endicott outscored the Owls 8-3 in the second half. His first and second goals came less than two minutes apart in the third quarter as it gave Endicott an 8-5 and 9-6 advantage. His third goal was an unassisted tally that put the Gulls up 13-7 with 4:48 to play. He finished the game with five shots (four shots on goal) and a ground ball.

This marks Favreau's first career CCC Offensive Player of the Week award.


TIM LUCIANO 

Luciano earned the win for Endicott in their 14-7 victory over Keene St on Friday night.

The graduate student made 17 saves on 24 shots (70.8 save percentage) in the win as the defensive unit stymied an Owls offense that averaged over 14 goals a game last season. He also added two ground balls.

The 17 saves are tied for second most in his career.

This is Luciano's third career CCC Defensive Player of the Week award (2/27/23 and 4/24/23).


MANNY MARSHALL

In his first career collegiate game, Marshall scored the first goal of the game in Endicott's 14-7 win on the road at Keene St.

The freshman scored on his first shot in college and had four shots in the game with three going on net.

This is Marshall's first career CCC Rookie of the Week award.
