Men’s Lacrosse Pulls Away From Nazareth, 14-11

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — The Endicott men's lacrosse team defeated Nazareth College, 14-11, in non-conference action on Sunday afternoon at NLPA Field.

Nick Pagluiso (Shelton, Conn.) highlighted the Gulls' attack with a game-high five goals and one assist.

Guerin Favreau (Woodstock Valley, Conn.) filled the stat sheet with three tallies and three helpers. 

Nick Graap (Yorktown Heights, N.Y.) also notched a hat trick, while Colt Green (Honeoye Falls, N.Y.) and Thomas Barker (Needham, Mass.) rounded out the scoring (2g | 1g).

In goal, Tim Luciano (Westport, Conn.) made 15 saves to move to 2-0 on the season.

The third quarter was the difference for Endicott outscoring the hosts 4-2 in the frame before the Gulls matched Nazareth goal-for-goal in the fourth to seal the victory.

Graap (12:51, 8-6), Green (8:25, 9-7), and Pagluiso (5:00, 10-7 | :02, 11-8) all found the ledger in the third quarter.

BEYOND THE BOX SCORE

  • Endicott leads the all-time series 2-0 (first meeting, 13-7, Beverly, Mass., 2/29/2020).
  • Barker won a season-high 18 faceoffs and notched a game-high 10 ground balls.
  • Pagluiso tied his career-high for goals (5g, 5a vs. Roger Williams, W, 21-13, 4/8/23).

Endicott (2-0) hosts No. 11 nationally ranked Union (N.Y.) on Wednesday, February 28 at 4 PM. Nazareth (1-1) welcomes No. 2 RIT to its campus next Wednesday at 4 PM.
