Babson Rallies Past Men's Lacrosse, 8-6

BABSON PARK, Mass. — The Endicott men's lacrosse team fell to Babson, 8-6, on Wednesday night at MacDowell Field. 

Endicott came out strong in the contest as the Gulls raced out to a 4-0 lead, but Babson responded with eight goals over three quarters to come away with the eventual two-goal win.

Mike Sudora (Monroe, Conn.) had a hat trick for the Gulls, while Will Clark (Burnt Hills, N.Y.), John Koebel (Port Jefferson Station, N.Y.), and Jack Sutherland (Sudbury, Mass.) each scored once. 

In goal, Austin Fournier (Martha's Vineyard, Mass.) made 15 stops in the loss (1-2). 

BEYOND THE BOX SCORE 

  • Despite the loss, Endicott continues to lead the all-time series over Babson, 4-2
  • James Loughran (Cos Cob, Conn.) had a game-high three caused turnovers in the contest. 
  • Domenic Valera (Fitchburg, Mass.) was 8-14 in the face-off x for the Gulls. 

WHAT'S NEXT 

Endicott (1-2) will host Skidmore on Saturday, March 7 at 12 PM. Babson (3-1) will host Rensselaer on Saturday, March 7 at 2 PM.
