BEVERLY, Mass. - Following his team-leading finish at the Duke Nelson Invitational in Middlebury, Vt. this weekend, Endicott sophomore Brady Burke (Bedford, N.H.) has been named Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Golfer of the Week, as was announced by the conference office earlier today.
Burke finished tied for 12th out of 124 golfers at the Ralph Myhre Golf Club over the weekend. The sophomore posted an opening round of +6, 77 on Saturday before firing an even-par 71 on Sunday. The round of 71 on the 6,395-yard course tied Burke for 7th individually in the final round. His two-day total of +6, 148 helped lead the Gulls to a tie for 7th out of 24 programs, the best finish in program history at the Duke Nelson Invitational.
The Gulls are back in action this weekend when they travel to western Mass. to compete in the Williams College Invitational on Saturday and Sunday. The Invitational will be held at the Taconic Golf Club in Williamstown, Mass.
