Endicott student-athlete Jen Rheaume (Blackstone, MA) was awarded Offensive Player of the Week by the Commonwealth Coast Conference for her outstanding performances in field hockey.
The freshman tallied a total of 8 points last week with 2 goals and 4 assists. She scored one goal along with two assists in the Gulls' 3-2 win over Anna Maria. Rheaume's play has helped lead EC to a 7-4 record overall thus far.
"Jen is one of the hardest working players on the field," said Head Coach Laura O'Neil. "As a freshman she has set an excellent example for our upper classmen. Jen has outstanding speed and stick-work. She stops the ball on a dime and is able to consistently pass it to her open teammates. She has been a tremendous addition to the Endicott field hockey team."
Rheaume was a team captain last year as a senior at Blackstone-Millville Regional. She was a 3-year Dual Valley Conference Team member and was a First Team All Star for the Metrowest Daily News.
